| 3:30 pm-4:30 pm | Megan Dibbern Honors Thesis Defense West SciencePlease join us for Megan Dibbern's thesis defense, titled "Spreading Depression Preferentially Increases Oxidative Stress in Microglia and Astrocytes: Implications for the Chronification of Migraine." In 2011, Dibbern completed both a summer and a fourth block placement with Dr. Richard Kraig '78, a professor in the departments of neurology and neurobiology, pharmacology and physiology at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Dimensions annually supports the placement of a Cornell student in Dr. Kraig's lab. Your attendance is a great way to support Megan, learn about this summer 2013 research opportunity and learn about the process involved in order to graduate with distinction with a BMB major. |
