Douglas Hanson, PhD Professor of Art October 1, 8, 15, and 22 Pots and the Potters Professor Doug Hanson looks back on the many countries he has visited during thirty-seven years of teaching at Cornell. He has traveled with and without students to study each country’s particular ceramic arts. And, like Cornell's liberal arts approach to learning, he and the students return home understanding as much about the people as they do about the pottery.
