Cole Library hosts a preschool story time every Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. Cathy Boggs uses a weekly theme that ties together stories, songs and finger plays. Story hour lasts 30 minutes and is located in the Children's Room on first floor.
11:00 am-1:00 pmBest Buddies Midnight Madness Info Session The Commons
Best Buddies International is an organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities. Midnight Madness, a pirate-themed fundraiser for Best Buddies, is a crazy, day-long scavenger hunt with teams of 6-10 players ending with an after party in downtown Mount Vernon. Come down to the OC to learn more about this fun event, donate spare change, get your picture taken with a pirate ($1 donation), test your knowledge of pirate trivia, and win great prizes.

Dr. Squier, from the University of Iowa, will be speaking to CAFE Cornell about tobacco-related diseases, second-hand smoke, and the need for smoke-free policies.
