| 10:00 am | Children's Story Time Cole LibraryCole Library hosts a preschool story time every Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. Cathy Boggs uses a weekly theme that ties together stories, songs and finger plays. Story hour lasts 30 minutes and is located in the Children's Room on first floor. |
| 10:00 am | Feminist Symposium The CommonsThird Wave Resource Group hosts this student-run conference that highlights scholarship which focuses on feminist issues. Presentations from many fields of study, by faculty, students, and staff from Cornell, and surrounding colleges/universities. Guest speaker is Barbara Martinez Jitner who presents, “Femicide at Our U.S. Border: To Be a Woman in Juarez is a Death Sentence,” in Hedges Conference Room at 3 pm. Reception follows in Harlan Dining Room.Community members are welcome. |
| 1:00 pm | Dance Workshop with George de la Pena from University of Iowa TBAStudio Dance Troupe is hosting a dance workshop conducted by George de la Pena for beginning and advanced dancers at Dance Arts Iowa (old middle school in Mt Vernon near Shepleys'). Each workshop will run 1 hour. George de la Pena was a member of the American Ballet Theater and has worked in Broadway, off-Broadway, television, film and regional theaters throughout the US, Canada and Europe. Contact Rita d'Escoto (R-dEscoto) to reserve a spot. |

Special prizes available for audience members as well! |
