Cole Library hosts a preschool story time every Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. Cathy Boggs uses a weekly theme that ties together stories, songs and finger plays. Story hour lasts 30 minutes and is located in the Children's Room on first floor.

The Rev. Raphael Warnock, senior pastor of the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, spiritual home of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., discusses the intersection of faith and social justice. The event, at 11 a.m. in King Chapel, is free and open to the public. Licensed and ordained at the historic Sixth Avenue Baptist Church of Birmingham, Ala., Warnock first served the Abyssinian Baptist Church in New York City and Baltimore’s Douglas Memorial Community Church. .

Joshua Casteel served eight years in the U.S. Army, including eight months as an interrogator and Arabic linguist at Abu Ghraib prison before being honorably discharged as a conscientious objector. Casteel will talk about his war experiences and give his opinions on the Iraq War at 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 10th in Hedges Conference Room, the Commons. Sponsored by Cornell Dems.
