| 11:15 am | David Klaus '67 Lecture The CommonsDavid has worked at the World Bank since 1974, and has an extensive background as a Projects Officer, Loan Officer, Country Officer, Education Economist, Agricultural Economist, and Education Specialist. The lecture is based off his presentation entitled: "The Use of Indigenous Languages in Early Basic Education in Papua New Guinea: A Model for Elsewhere?”. It is about how a poor country makes carefully thought-out choices to obtain the best results with the available (scarce) resources. |
