Activist Ellen Fisher will share practical methods of taking action against poverty through advocacy. Presentation also includes optional letter-writing/call-in. Fisher has over 25 years of advocacy experience. She has sucessfully lobbied locally and in DC, has utilized the media and coordinated multiple letter writing campaigns. Fisher is the Advocacy Chair of the IA Division of the UN Association, and Chair of the CR/Marion CROPwalk (23 years), raising over $350,000. Sponsored by STEP.
