| 11:15 am-12:00 pm | HAIG lecture presented by Kerry Bostwick, Jean Donham, and Jill Heinrich The CommonsThis presentation examines how a more authentic type of learning experience might be afforded to students in a senior capstone course and provide an overview of qualitative and ethnographic research project that invites meaningful inquiry by asking students to first articulate a research problem or question, followed by a process of on-going data collection and analysis. We'll conclude by sharing representative student projects. |
