| 11:00 am-1:00 pm | Senior Class Agent Nominations Cornell CollegeSeniors come nominate your fellow classmates for the Class of '09 class agent position. It only takes a few minutes, but the impact will last a lifetime. Information about the class agent program will be provided. Sponsored by the Alumni Association and CASA. |
| 11:00 am-12:00 pm | Oregon Trail Information and Drop Off Point The CommonsMembers of STEP will be at the tables outside of Sodexo to take donations for the Oregon Trail program. Students may also drop off their donations to "become healthy" if they have received a "disease" sign on their door. We will also be available to answer any questions regarding Oregon Trail. |
| 11:10 am-12:00 pm | HAIG lecture The CommonsBiology Prof. Andy McCollum will present "A Primer on Evolution for Humanists and Artists." In honor of Charles Darwin's upcoming 200th Birthday and the 150th Anniversary of the publication of his classic work On the Origin of Species, Dr. McCollum will provide a brief overview of the fundamentals of evolution by natural selection. He will do his best to leave some time for questions and discussion. |
| 11:30 am-12:45 pm | Internet Privacy Workshop Cole LibraryInternet editor and librarian Alan Cordle will lead a small, hands-on workshop about internet security and privacy issues. Mr. Cordle has worked as a reference librarian in public, university and community college libraries for over a decade. In 2004 he founded Foetry.com, the American Poetry Watchdog, and has appeared on the covers of both the Chronicle of Higher Education and the Los Angeles Times, and he's been interviewed on Talk of the Nation and the CBC's As It Happens. |

She will speak about truths and misconceptions about individuals with developmental disabilities and help us transition into our kick off for this year's recruitment of Cornell College students for our annual Adapted Sports Day. All students, faculty, staff, and community members are invited. |

In Drift and Pulse, her third book of poems, Halme is fascinated with the domain where matter is experienced as mind. Drawing upon brain science, anthropology, and biology, these poems take aim at the big questions of form and death. |
