Cole Library hosts a preschool story time every Thursday. Cathy Boggs, public library coordinator, uses a weekly theme that ties together stories, songs, and fingerplays. Story time lasts 30 minutes.

Members of STEP will be at the tables outside of Sodexo to take donations for the Oregon Trail program. Students may also drop off their donations to "become healthy" if they have received a "disease" sign on their door. We will also be available to answer any questions regarding Oregon Trail.

Buy a bunch of Daffodils and support the American Cancer Society. Prices start at $10 and support cancer research. Dr J.Q. Adams, professor of educational and interdisciplinary studies, specializes in multicultural education. He designed the PBS telecourse Dealing with Diversity, which is taught at more than 150 colleges and universities nationwide. Adams, who has taught at Western Illinois since 1988, is co-director of the Illinois Cultural Diversity Association. He is co-editor of Cultural Diversity: Curriculum, Classroom and Climate and co-director of an annual statewide diversity institute.
