| 11:30 am | Feminist Evolutionary Biology Discussion Group The CommonsFeminist Evolutionary Biologist Dr. Patricia Gowaty is visiting Dec. 7-8 to celebrate Darwin’s 200th birthday and the importance of Darwinian Feminism. To prepare for Dr. Gowaty’s visit, students and faculty interested in feminism will meet each Thursday to discuss relevant papers. This week a paper by Gowaty and Stephen Hubbell titled "Reproductive decisions under ecological constraints: It’s about time," will be discussed. Panelists include Missy Hall, Volunteer Coordinator from the American Red Cross, American Red Cross caseworker Kim Abram-Bryant, Biology and Chemistry Professor Jeff Cardon, and Cornell student Xinrui Zeng who has done research and service in Kenya on HIV/AIDS.
