| 9:00 am-12:00 pm | Chautauqua - Term 3 The CommonsPresented by James Martin, Ph.D. Mozart's operatic masterpiece, "Don Giovanni," is surely on everyone's list as not only one of the greatest operas ever written, but as one of the greatest works in western art as well. Called “drama giocoso” by Mozart, it denotes a mix of serious and comic action, blending comedy, melodrama and supernatural elements. Join us as we examine it from a musical perspective, and at other times focus upon the mixture of music and theatre/text. CD listening, video viewing, and lively discussions are promised. Open to adults of all ages. Cost of the four-week program is $30. |
| 11:30 am | Executive Council meeting The CommonsThe Executive Council of Student Senate is comprised of the President, Vice President, and the chairs of the four Senate Standing Committees: Academic Affairs, Appropriations, Organizations, and Student Life. The council meets weekly to discuss pertinent campus issues, examine how to communicate important issues to students, and explore the work of each standing committee. |

Jeeter is an educational program consultant specializing in assessment, accountability, and program evaluation. Scott is serving as a Title III consultant.
