The Civic Engagement Office is sponsoring a Block Break Service Trip. Students will travel to Waterloo, Iowa to volunteer with the Northeast Iowa Food Bank.

Cole Library invites all members of the Cornell community to attend its annual Independent Film Festival. The annual film festival showcases three films from the library’s Film Movement DVD collection, a subscription service that delivers a new, award-winning independent film each month. At this year’s festival, the following films will be shown: "Men at Work," at 6 p.m., "Under the Bombs," at 7:45 p.m., and "The Grocer’s Son," at 9:30 p.m. Detailed synopses for all films can be found at www.filmmovement.com. Admission is free, as is all the popcorn, soda, chai, and shortbread you can eat. Door prizes will be given away in between each of the films.
