11:30 amFeminist Evolutionary Biology Discussion Group The Commons
Feminist Evolutionary Biologist Dr. Patricia Gowaty is visiting Dec. 7-8 to celebrate Darwin's 200th birthday and the importance of Darwinian Feminism. To prepare for Dr. Gowaty's visit, students and faculty interested in feminism will meet each Thursday to discuss relevant papers. This week Gowaty's 2003 paper "Power asymmetries between the sexes, mate preferences, and components of fitness," will be discussed.
