Buy a bunch of Daffodils and support the American Cancer Society. Prices start at $10 and support cancer research. The Red Cross will be hosting a blood drive, Tuesday, Feb. 10. Appointments can be made prior to the drive by stopping at the sign-up tables in The Commons over lunch or online at www.givebloodgivelife.org. Walk-ins are also accepted.

Tom Javoroski, professor in philosophy, is recruiting volunteers for a trip to New Orleans from March 15-21. The group will be working with Phoenix of New Orleans (PNOLA) which focuses on the Lower Mid-City neighborhood, putting people back into their homes and rebuilding parks and public areas since hurricane Katrina hit in 2005.
