Can you say tasty wings? That's right, Mortar Board is pairing up with Buffalo Wild Wings to raise money for the Cedar Rapids Public Library. For students interested in a hot and spicy dinner, place an order of wings with any Mortar Board member before Wednesday evening (Feb. 18), or stop by the tables in The Commons on Feb. 18 between 11-1 p.m. Wings will be sold for only $0.70 each! Orders will be fulfilled for Thursday night's dinner (Feb. 19) at 6 p.m., delivered directly to your dorm.

Environmental writer and memoirist Scott Russell Sanders will read and discuss his work, 7:30 PM in Hedges. Sanders is the author of over twenty collections of essays and fiction. A Conservationist Manifesto, his forthcoming book, addresses the challenge to shift from a culture based on consumption to a culture based on conservation, from recklessness to caretaking, and the practice of conservation.
