As we approach the 200th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth on Feb. 12, 2009, this course explores the questions: How did the 51-year-old get the presidential nomination of the Republican Party? What did he do with the first fifty years of his life? Why do historians rank him as one of our best presidents? Open to adults of all ages. Cost of the four week program is $30.

Students can earn college credit for Washington, D.C.-based internships and short-term academic seminars. Placements are available in Washington D.C. and abroad.
