Time Event Title
11:15 am-11:45 am"The Benefits of Failure" @ Inter-Spiritual Healing Wisdom Wednesday Allee Chapel
"The Benefits of Failure"--sharing our lived wisdom by J.K.Rowling, each other, and ourselves. See J.K. Rowling's brief TED Talk on the topic in advance, or simply join us for self and group reflection. Rowling's own struggles and failures after college granted her many gifts--she says failure helped set her free. It also cultivated a deeper empathy within her for the struggles of others. Has hitting rock bottom ever come with fringe benefits for your life? Come. Reflect. Renew. Visit the TED website to watch Rowling's talk (suggestion: If lacking time, start viewing at track 6:30). Sponsored by the chaplain, Interfaith Understanding and Exploration, and SOULfriends.
