  a visiting speaker will address this question. Ritt Deitz, executive dir
 ector of the Professional French Masters Program at the University of Wis
 consin-Madison,  will share stories from PFMP alumni whose French is part
  of their work. A published writer, critic, teacher and musician, Deitz h
 as directed the PFMP since its inception in 2000, and speaks often on the
  untapped potential of the liberal arts education in students' quest to f
 ind ways to use French outside of teaching after they graduate.
