11:00 am-1:00 pm | Senior Pictures Orange CarpetHey seniors--still need to get your yearbook picture taken? Want to be in the yearbook to commemorate your final year of college? The Royal Purple will be on the OC during lunch Wednesday, Dec. 5, through Friday, Dec. 7, to take your picture! Dress casually or formally, whichever you choose! Seniors will be added to the yearbook on a first come, first served basis and those that do not have a picture taken will not appear in the yearbook. Hope to see you there! |
11:00 am | AmeriCorps NCCC Info Sessions Thomas CommonsAmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps) is a full-time, team-based residential service program for men and women ages 18-24. A representative from NCCC's campus in Vinton, Iowa, will be at Cornell to provide information about this opportunity. From 11 a.m. to noon there will be an information table outside the Scramble, and from noon to 1 p.m. there will be an informational meet and greet in Shaw (bring your lunch to go). |

You will learn about this innovative new approach to earning a graduate business degree in less than 12 months. |
4:30 pm-5:30 pm | Information Session for PA/RA positions Thomas CommonsAn information session for any student interested in becoming a peer advocate (PA) or resident assistant (RA) for the upcoming year. We'll provide an overview of both positions and share the process for applying. |
5:30 pm-6:30 pm | Native Americans at Cornell College student meeting Thomas CommonsThe first meeting of Native Americans at Cornell College. The group hopes to reach out to anyone interested in learning about Native American heritage and promoting support and awareness in the Cornell College community. |
6:30 pm-7:30 pm | Cedar Rapid’s Islamic History in Context Allee ChapelLecture by Dr. Andrea Stanton, assistant professor of Islamic studies the University of Denver, will speak about the Islamic community in Cedar Rapids. |
