DESCRIPTION:Erin Casey '09, a graduate of the University of Denver Publish
 ing Institute, will speak with students about the Denver Publishing Insti
 tute and job opportunities in the industry. The Publishing Institute is a
 n intensive, four-week summer program that provides a broad overview of a
 ll aspects of the publishing industry in lectures and hands-on workshops 
 in editing and marketing. The faculty members are all professionals worki
 ng in the publishing industry, and they cover topics from the role of the
  editor to marketing, from international publishing and markets to the wo
 rk of the literary agent, and from textbook to spiritual publishing. This
  presentation is for all majors.
