DESCRIPTION:Students who have pre-registered for this event will dine with
  Dr. Lynne Stempien, a pediatric rehabilitation doctor/physiatrist. Stemp
 ien's work experience includes 12 years as assistant medical director of 
 the Denver Children's Hospital rehabilitation department, associate profe
 ssor of rehabilitation at the University of Colorado, and 10 years as med
 ical director for Active Health Management. She has treated children with
  a wide range of congenital and acquired disabilities, such as traumatic 
 brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy, amputations, and ne
 urologic and orthopedic disorders. Her insurance industry experience incl
 udes precertification reviews, disability evaluations, and medicolegal co
 nsulting. Stempien's daughter, Caryn Shebowich, is a sophomore at Cornell.
