Celebrate the third annual Philanthropy Week at Cornell. Stop at the table outside the Dining Hall over lunch for philanthropy trivia, and answer questions from the Philanthropy Week hunt to win prizes. Seniors: Come to Friday After Class in Berry Lobby, 7-8:30 p.m., to support the Senior Gift Campaign. Hosted by the SGC Leadership Committee.

Aaron Hagler, ACM/Mellon post-doctoral teacher-scholar fellow in history, will give a lecture titled "The Many Uses of History: Political Islam's Memory of the Islamic Past."

Join CEC in meeting Constance Mayer, a 20-year veteran of the U.S. State Department, serving primarily in the Department's Intelligence and Research Bureau (INR) as an all-source analyst on the Middle East, North and Sub-Saharan Africa. Mayer recruits for the U.S. State Department and orients students interested in international affairs to the different career options available to them as public servants or in the Washington, D.C.-based non-governmental (NGO), non-profit, and think tank realms.
