All staff members are encouraged to attend a Campus Currents meeting to gain and share information useful for engaging current students, recruiting new students, and connecting with alumni and friends of the college. These meetings also give staff members opportunities to discuss and provide feedback on broader college issues. Campus Currents meetings are repeated so offices can remain open while staff rotate attendance. These meetings are 9-10 a.m. and again 2-3 p.m. each day they are held. Participants suggest agenda items in advance, and meetings are held only when an agenda is created approximately two weeks in advance.

Karliana Sakas, candidate for the Spanish Peninsular teaching position in the department of classical and modern languages, will give a presentation titled "Miguel de Cervantes' 'Rinconete and Cortadillo.'" A reception will follow in Moosehead Lounge. She will also give a teaching demonstration on "The Present Subjunctive" Friday, Jan. 31 from 11:15 a.m.-noon in Durham Classroom-Thomas Commons.
5:00 pm-6:30 pmMeet the Geeks Thomas Commons
Several of the honor societies on campus (including Mortar Board, Beta Beta Beta, NRHH, Phi Alpha Delta, Psi Chi, and more!) will be on the OC to answer questions about their groups, what they do, how to apply, etc. Each group will also have an activity! So stop by, have some fun, and Meet the Geeks!
