Dimensions is currently recruiting for a paid ($15/Hr) summer internship at the Thedacare Center for Healthcare Value in Appleton, Wisconsin. The internship is open to students in all majors, but is designed for students who are interested in healthcare, particularly in the areas of healthcare policy, administration and delivery.
Students with interest in this opportunity should email Julie Barnes for further details. Applications must be submitted by noon on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014. The internship dates are May 27–Aug. 15, 2014.

The Career Engagement Center and the Beta Omicron Distinguished Alumni Visitors Program is excited to welcome Rachel Johnston, PhD '94, director of the criminology program at The Adler School of Professional Psychology, back to campus. Johnston will be leading a discussion on Applying the Liberal Arts to the World of Work and Public Service during this lunch time session. Johnston has an extensive background working with large criminal justice systems and community based partners researching urban violence and violence prevention. Cornell College welcomes visiting Chaplain, Rev. Dr. Mike Sherrill from Aoyama Gakuin Women's Junior College in Tokyo, Japan. Rev. Dr. Sherrill will be presenting on "Rebuilding Hearts and Homes: The Power of Human Oneness and Compassion in Action in Japan's Post-Earthquake Recovery," at 3:30 p.m. in Allee Chapel. Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is partnering with the Iowa Insurance Division to offer a "Smart Choice Health Insurance" workshop Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. This workshop is to equip consumers to make smart health insurance choices. The workshops will include basic information about health insurance terms and concepts and how to select a policy that best meets needs. They will also include an introduction to the Iowa Health Insurance Marketplace on-line and an overview of how tax credits will work to assist in paying health insurance premiums.
