Cornell offers two scholarship programs to help students participate in off-campus study. The Levy Awards are given to students participating in block-long courses taught by Cornell faculty. The Class of '55 Awards are for virtually any off-campus program. The deadline for scholarship applications for the 2014-15 academic year is March 19, 2014.

We are pleased to announce that an anonymous donor recently established the Guatemala Off-Campus Fund to support students pursuing study of language and culture in Guatemala. Students participating in any accredited program in Guatemala are eligible to apply. Deadline is March 19 for the 2014-15 academic year.

How do making a commitment and acting consistently help you develop as a leader? Come to the session on commitment to learn about this aspect of leadership. Note: This program is required for the commitment certificate.
5:30 pm-8:30 pmRAD (Rape Aggression Defense) Basic Self-Defense Class for Women
This is the first of 4 class meetings. The RAD self-defense class teaches strategies for safety and basic self-defense techniques. The participation fee is $25, but fee assistance is available. Register at the Info Desk by 1 p.m. March 19. Class begins Wednesday, March 19, and continues March 22, March 26, and April 7. For more info, go to the website.
