The Medieval and Renaissance Club (MeRC) holds a small renaissance festival every year to provide a forum for learning about life in pre- and early gunpowder Europe (600-1700 CE). We have traditionally had pies available by donation and have recently brought in a local live steel reenactment group and the Society for Creative Anachronism for fighting and artistry demonstrations.
