This workshop will introduce mapping programs which work best with narrative content rather than data-driven content. We’ll begin with discussion about the value of mapping to convey information to both the reader and the writer and we’ll discuss assignment and project ideas. We’ll work to break these project ideas down by establishing the kinds of information needed for the map viewer (does time play an important factor? video?). We will also spend hands-on time working with different mapping tools as an introduction to the process. To RSVP for this workshops, please visit https://goo.gl/forms/F3HQ1HovHl4u992h2. 1:00 pm-3:00 pmWeb Projects Cole Library

We’ll also look at some of the technical details of creating a website using Wordpress. To RSVP for this workshops, please visit https://goo.gl/forms/F3HQ1HovHl4u992h2.
