Joshua Casteel, a native Iowan, is author of Letters From Abu Ghraib in which he recounts his experience as an interrogator and a Christian. Shortly after discharge, he began writing and speaking about his wartime experiences, serving on the board of directors of Iraq Veterans Against the War and chairing that group’s Religious Dialogue committee.
