8:30 pm Sep 18th The Commons Magee	One Book, One Campus, One Community Book Discussion The Mount Vernon Community and Community of Readers will meet to discuss The Horizontal World: Growing Up Wild in the Middle of Nowhere by Debra Marquart. Thursday, September 18, at 8:30 p.m. in Magee Dining Room, The Commons. This discussion follows Marquart’s reading and book signing. Cole Library has multiple copies of this title available.
7:00 pm Sep 23rd Cole Library Second Floor	Meskwaki Code Talkers of WW II More than 50 Meskwaki served in the military during World War II. They played a key role sending top military secrets over the air waves. Speaking in their native language they baffled enemy eavesdroppers who were trying to break the code using traditional methods.
