Thomas, Ph.D. In two post-war decades our society struggled with the onslaught of prosperity, technological changes, and challenges to the dominate value systems. The young of the nation were at the center as they looked forward to a different world and new or changed values. They saw themselves as pioneers of a new social order and citizens of a new world. Join us as we explore the rebellion in the 1920s and 1960s. Films, lectures, discussions, and recollections are the basic sources for this adventure. This course continues April 19 and 26. Open to adults of all ages. Cost of the four-week program is $30.00. |
