Mark's experience--in classrooms, board rooms, policy arenas, and research circles--has led him to recognize that the current education system only educates some students. Mark is currently engaged in "revolutionary work" for establishing an alternate system with the capacity for educating all students to dramatically high levels of learning. Sponsored by the Beta Omicron Distinguished Alumni Visitors program.

There is something of the Martian about Harvey Poet Matthea Harvey will read from and discuss her work. Harvey is the author of Modern Life, Sad Little Breathing Machine, and Pity the Bathtub its Forced Embrace of the Human Form. The Chicago Tribune says, "her disjunctions, reversals and bizarreries arise from her inquiry into the strangeness of sentience itself—how odd it is to think, feel and look.”
