Professor Don Chamberlain will present "Mosaics: Homage to Barcelona." Prof. Chamberlain will discuss how he was influenced by a variety of musical, cultural,and artistic aspects of Barcelona during a trip to this Spanish city last spring. He will share how these experiences informed the basic musical materials and compositional processes he used when writing his most recent piece for guitar quartet.
