Cornell's annual Family Weekend will take place Nov. 6 and 7. This is a great opportunity for families and friends of Cornell students to visit campus and learn more about the student experience. Families are invited to attend classes with their student on Friday. As part of our schedule we will have the traditional "College for Parents," with mini classes led by Cornell faculty and staff on Saturday morning. Again this year we are offering the Extraordinary Opportunities Parent Sessions with information from The Berry Center, Dimensions, Cornell Fellows, and Off Campus Study. Other fun activities are the Eyes of the World Culture Show on Friday at 6 p.m. on the OC, the Gumbo Project both Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., a Jazz Combo performance over lunch on Saturday on the OC, and "The Soloist" showing in the Ratt Saturday at 8 p.m. For a complete schedule please visit the website at http://www.cornellcollege.edu/family-weekend/index.shtml.
