Homecoming Comedian Kelly Taylor comes back to Cornell. Hailing from small town Canada, this former hockey player has performed all across the country and recently made his debut in NYC at some of the most well respected clubs in the industry.

Homecoming Powderpuff Games
New to the Homecoming Week schedule- Powderpuff Volleyball and Football! Sign up on the OC or just show up before the event. Men will play volleyball in the Sports Center at 6:30, and Women playing flag football on the practice fields at 7:15. Freshmen and sophomores against Juniors and Seniors. Coached and refereed by our varsity coaches and athletes.

Homecoming Pep Rall and Fireworks show (Ash Park)
The annual Homecoming Pep Rally and Fireworks Show will take place outside at the football field. Join us for performances by the dance team, cheerleaders, highlights from the athletic teams, and crowning of the King and Queen. Following the pep rally will be the huge fireworks show. After the Pep Rally and Fireworks show come down behind New Hall for the annual bonfire. Free snacks and hot chocolate!

Homecoming Dance (The Embassy Club, corner of Blairs Ferry Rd. and Council St., Cedar Rapids)
9 p.m. - 1 a.m. Professional DJ, free food and soda, and a cash bar for those of age. Free admission. Free shuttles leave from outside of Merner Hall from 9 p.m. - midnight. Comedian Dan Ahdoot
After graduating with honors as a premed student from Johns Hopkins Dan Ahdoot took a giant chance and joined the stand up comedy world. He has since appeared on Last Comic Standing and worked as a writer for Comedy Central's Crank Yankers. He has opened for Lewis Black, Jay Mohr, and Patton Oswalt.
