Opens with instruction enfolding Eastern and Western spiritual approaches and medical stress-reduction perspectives. Throughout the year we will explore various relaxation response and breathing techniques, practices used in Zen theory and meditation, ancient Christian meditation/centering prayer, energy work (i.e. chakra meditation), and other modalities. Sponsored by the Office of the Chaplain and Spiritual Life.

Conversations About Teaching offers an opportunity for faculty to gather and discuss topics related to the classroom. This week's CAT is "Engagement." Facilitating the event are James Martin, professor of music; Becki Elkins, director of institutional research; Tera Kringle, director of student activities; and Dan Schofer, head cross country and assistant track coach. Participants are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch.
