Living in the Flow: Inter-spirituality Block Break Retreat with Canoeing

Relax. Re-center. Relinquish over-striving to cultivate new habits of living from your deeper self with a sense of ease-filled "flow," surrendered openness before mystery and unknowns, and awareness of oneness with others, quiet earth, and the Sacred. Activities include peaceful hikes in the woods, meditation, yoga out in fields of green, canoeing, inter-spiritual wisdom reflections, and honoring each other's spiritual identities and life stories by the campfire. The retreat at Pictured Rocks begins Thursday, Sept. 27, departing from the Thomas Commons Circle at noon. The group will return to campus by approximately 4-5 p.m. on Friday. There will be cabin-based camping approximately 40 minutes from campus. R.S.V.P. to Catherine Quehl-Engel by Thursday, Sept. 20. Limited to 20 people. In email, indicate if you have dietary restrictions and if you intend to canoe. Sponsored by Cornell's chaplain, Soul Friends, and Interfaith Understanding and Exploration Leadership teams.
