Kinesiology students and Cornell's Wellness Committee will be available in Thomas Commons to inform students about The Blue Zones Project and encourage text votes for Mount Vernon. If selected, Mount Vernon will receive assistance from national experts to help transform the community, making permanent environmental and policy changes to improve the emotional, physical, and social health of its residents. Opens with instruction enfolding Eastern and Western spiritual approaches and medical stress-reduction perspectives. Throughout the year we will explore various relaxation response and breathing techniques, practices used in Zen theory and meditation, ancient Christian meditation/centering prayer, energy work (i.e. chakra meditation), and other modalities. Sponsored by the Office of the Chaplain and Spiritual Life.

Do you speak another language? Can you sing a song in that language? Come to International Karaoke Night to show off your musical and linguistic talents! For every international song you sing, you will receive a ticket to put into a drawing. The more you sing, the higher your chances to win! Three lucky winners will each receive a $5 voucher from Moonlight Cafe and
one winner will receive a free Moonlight Cafe T-shirt. The special menu for the evening includes sushi and spring rolls. Come and sing your heart out!
