How can I use my French to start a career? On Friday, Nov. 30, a visiting speaker will address this question. Ritt Deitz, executive director of the Professional French Masters Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will share stories from PFMP alumni whose French is part of their work. A published writer, critic, teacher and musician, Deitz has directed the PFMP since its inception in 2000, and speaks often on the untapped potential of the liberal arts education in students' quest to find ways to use French outside of teaching after they graduate.
