Bryant K. Smith of Smith Consulting and Networking will conduct an interactive workshop. The program, a multi-media experience, will provide historical and theoretical background for the word and give its cultural significance in present day race relations and popular culture.
Smith is the author of "Black Not Blind," a social commentary on race relations in the United States. He is a highly sought after lecturer and facilitator, who dares to follow his motto and tackle subject matter that may be “difficult but not impossible” to talk about. Smith is a product of the Chicago Public School system and has served as a university administrator and faculty member.
