Cited as the "poster girl for third-wave feminism" by Salon and one of the Top 100 Inspiring Women in the world by The Guardian - Valenti is the author of three books: "Full Frontal Feminism: A Young Woman's Guide to Why Feminism Matters," "He's a Stud, She's a Slut ... and 49 Other Double Standards Every Woman Should Know," and "The Purity Myth: How America's Obsession with Virginity is Hurting Young Women." She is also the creator of, a site for younger feminists who felt their voices were ignored., called "head and shoulders above almost any writing on women's issues in mainstream media" by Columbia Journalism Review helped spark an explosion of blogs and online communities that effectively shifted the movement online and helped create a new heyday for feminism.

Jenn Grinels, an acoustic guitarist from California, performs music with elements of folk, blues, jazz, and pop rock. She has been touring since her album was released in 2007, and later that year won the Honoring Acoustic Talent Award for both Best Vocalist and Best Performer, then in 2010 was awarded the Best Female Solo Artist by the APCA (Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities).
