Take a free anxiety screening, get tips on reducing anxiety and stress, color, relax, and/or GET A FREE 10-MINUTE MASSAGE!(To get a massage, you must sign up in advance at the Counseling Center front desk in Ebersole and do a very brief written exercise). You can also take the anxiety screening online at www.cornellcollege.edu/counseling (click the "Online Mental Health Screening" link in the middle of the page). The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is offering a series of public lectures on the mathematics of Sudoku. Jim Freeman will lecture on Sudoku using material from the book "Taking Sudoku Seriously: The Math Behind the World's Most Popular Pencil Puzzle" by Jason Rosenhouse and Laura Taalman. Talks are open to any interested person. The first lecture will be March 6, with additional weekly sessions of blocks 7, 8, and 9. Each lecture will be made accessible for those who cannot attend each session.
