Thinking about a Ph.D. in the future? Join us for an informal discussion about graduate school and learn about the University of Iowa's graduate program in neuroscience. Rob Cornell, associate professor for the University of Iowa's Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Neuroscience, will dine with us. Kyle Durgin '14 conducted research this summer in Dr. Cornell's laboratory. This research focused on neural crest patterning in zebrafish, a vertebrate model system that is well suited to genetic and embryological methods.

This is the first of four class meetings. The RAD self-defense class teaches strategies for safety and basic self-defense techniques. The participation fee is $25, but fee assistance is available. Register at the Info Desk by 4 p.m. Sept. 12. Class begins Wednesday, Sept. 12, and continues Sept. 16, 19, and 23. For more information, visit the Counseling website.
