Collaborating Across Disciplines: Connecting, Linking, and Co-teaching
by Erin Davis, associate professor of sociology, and Emily Walsh, associate professor of geology.
Dr. Davis and Dr. Walsh have previously taught their introductory courses during the same blocks so that their students worked together on projects. Now, they are proposing co-teaching the class. As part of the Beta Omicron Distinguished Alumni Visitor program, the Career Engagement Center is excited to welcome Chip Koch '88, general manager of entertainment operations at Disney California Adventure to campus. During this interactive student workshop, Koch will share tips and advice on how to build your personal brand and employability through leadership, as well as the changing nature of the market place.
