Philippines Typhoon Relief

Description:

Why did the typhoon strike the Philippines? How has the UN been involved in international disaster relief? What are the victims' health conditions? Come to this event on the OC to find out the answers. Donation buckets can be found in Old Sem, Cole Library, and at the Info Desk. All donations will go through the UNICEF U.S. Fund and will be used to help children who were affected by the disaster. Co-sponsored by Chaplain, Spiritual Life, the Inter-Faith Understanding and Spiritus organizations, and the Roman Catholic Community Association, Model United Nations, Health Professions Society, Knot Just For Grannies, and the Civic Engagement Office.
