Three senior art history majors will offer brief presentations of their thesis research projects on Sunday, April 6, 2014 in 222 McWethy Hall at 1 p.m. Their talks will be followed by the opening of senior studio exhibitions in the nearby Luce Gallery at 2 p.m. The presenters and paper titles are:
Elizabeth "Liz" Madden, "Leda and the Swan: Concord and Motherhood in Renaissance Domestic Art."
Ryne Kempen, "Fighting the AIDS Epidemic in the 1980s: Keith Haring's Saint Sebastian."
Rio Dulaney, "Will Wilson's Auto Immune Response Installation: Healing the Diné World."
|2:00 pm||Senior Art Thesis Show McWethy Hall|
Four Studio Art Majors will display their work at the Peter Paul Luce Gallery in McWethy Hall as part of a comprehensive senior project. The show will feature an installation piece, a custom-made photography device with accompanying photos, non-objective paintings, and abstract expressionist paintings. It will open on April 6 with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Refreshments will be provided.

The Guy Mendilow Ensemble, an award-winning sextet comprising musicians from Israel, Palestine, Argentina, Japan, the UK, and the U.S. will be performing music from the Sephardic tradition on the Orange Carpet Sunday, April 6 at 4 p.m.
