Please join us for a discussion of the life and work of historian Doris Kearns Goodwin on Tuesday, Sept. 9 in the Ringer Dining Room between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. No advance reading is required. We have nine copies of Doris Kearns Goodwin's "Wait Till Next Year" to distribute to students. Plus, we will have copies of reviews and essays by and about her to share and discuss. Kearns has written many famous works on U.S. presidents and their families. Doris Kearns Goodwin will speak in King Chapel on Thursday, Sept. 18 at 7:30 p.m.

Alan Rohrer '71 will give a talk titled "The Top 10 Reasons Why You Are Not Ready for the Business World." This is a workshop for students who are trying to understand how they can build a career in business on the foundation they are establishing at Cornell College. Mr. Rohrer is a partner at QBS Research, a sales training firm. This event is sponsored by the Berry Center for Economics, Business, and Public Policy.
