Join us for the Early Out Movie on April 20 at 1 p.m. in Room 108. We will provide popcorn and a drink for each person. This free program is a public library event and is not affiliated with the Mount Vernon School District. Please call 895-4271 to reserve a seat.

A "Stammtisch" is a dinner table around which friends join for fun and conversation. At Cornell, our Stammtisch meets in the dining hall (look for the German flags) every Wednesday evening from 5-6 p.m. and offers you the chance to speak and listen to some German. All abilities are welcome! Come and enjoy!

Please join the Career & Civic Engagement Center and the Berry Center in welcoming Justin Kerr, chief merchandising officer/head of brand marketing at UNIQLO, and author of "How to Write an Email," who will share tips, tricks and funny stories about his unexpected rise to leading some of the world's leading retail and fashion brands (Gap, Levi, UNIQLO). Kerr will talk about how effective communication skills can change the trajectory of your career and life, as well as how not to sacrifice artistic ambitions for a job in the "real world." He will also read from his critically acclaimed workplace survival guide "How to Write an Email." The first 100 Cornell student attendees at this event will receive a free copy of Kerr's book courtesy of the Berry Center.
