Come see a tale of greed, deception, abduction, and a search for freedom in scenes from Plautus' Roman comedy, Poenulus (The Puny Carthaginian). Performances will take place on Monday, November 20, at 6:00 p.m. and Tuesday, November 21, at 11:30 a.m. in Ringer Recital Studio. The play centers around a young lover, Agorastocles, who is in love with a prostitute owned by a greedy pimp. In order to rescue the girl, Agorastocles is helped by his slave Milphio, who hatches a plot to trick the pimp. Will the lover and his slave triumph or be blocked by the pimp? Come and see!
