|7:30 pm||Music Mondays concert featuring Paul Galbraith King Chapel|
Classical guitarist Paul Galbraith is known for expanding the technical limits of his instrument through his playing style. His eight-string Brahms guitar, which he helped develop, is supported by a metal endpin (similar to a cello), which rests on a wooden resonance box. His guitar has a high and low string, compared to the traditional six-string guitar.
He has produced a series of critically acclaimed recordings of works by Bach, Haydn, and Brahms, along with his own arrangements of folk tunes from various countries. He was formerly nominated for a Grammy Award in the category of Best Solo Instrumental Album.
Admission is free to the public.
